finally, something worth blogging about.
today I was driving home from work in the Goshen area when I saw a familiar face. without a doubt, my old ’85 corolla hatchback passed me on Lincoln Ave. a local garage took the dilapidated pile off my hands a year ago for $20, the value of the gas in the tank or something.
i laughed and drove on… remembering some of the places I’d been in that ol’ car.
after a few days of sightseeing (Notre Dame, the Louvre, Eifel Tower, Sacre Coueur, etc.) and cooking our own meals in our Parisian apartment, I made the flight and train ride back to NNY. It is good to be home.
Already alot of little stories and details about Senegalese life have come out in conversation.
I just walked barefoot around the farm with my dog, Sammy, and we’re having corn on the cob for dinner. Alhumdulilah.
